Yolanda has developed her professional career as an economist in the private sector, accumulating more than 20 years of experience in positions of responsibility in financial departments. In addition, she has been providing training both in person and online, mainly on Excel spreadsheets, BI, Power Apps, accounting and taxation, for several years. Highlighting training for LinkedIn Learning on Excel and Power Apps tools.
On the other hand, she has published several books, articles and manuals, including: “Lo nuevo de Excel 2021”, “Lo nuevo de Excel 2019 y complementos Power BI” and “Manual prácticas TIC para Pymes y Autónomos”. And she is working with other authors on a book on electronic invoicing and another on Big Data and business information.
She maintains her own blog: “Excel, contabilidad y TIC”, which deals with these tools and was awarded Best Blog in the Digital Competitiveness awards of the Castilla y León Económica magazine.
Yolanda has been receiving consecutive recognition from Microsoft as MVP (Most Valuable Professional) in Excel (Microsoft 365 category) for over a decade.
She leads, along with other members, the W4TT group, Women for Technical Talks, in support and dissemination of the role of women in technology sessions and events.
Finally, she is also president of the Digital Economists Commission of the Valladolid College of Economists and a member of AECA, the Spanish Association of Accounting and Auditing, and collaborates on the Commission of new technologies and accounting.
