Rui has dedicated 6 years to his role as a Data Engineer. His journey began in Business Intelligence, where he developed a deep appreciation for data. Early on, he specialized in creating Reports and Tabular Models using PowerBI. As his career evolved, Rui transitioned to focus on ETL processes. He honed his skills in SQL Server technologies, particularly SSIS and SSAS, and became proficient with the Azure Data Stack.

Rui’s passion doesn’t stop at data optimization and performance. Recently, he’s found fulfilment in mentoring and educating others. This has led him to write blog posts, present at various events, and actively share his knowledge with the community.

Today, Rui’s ambition is clear: to continue growing in his field and to guide others on their data-driven journeys.
