Kathryn joined SumProduct after 25 years in a software house where she developed bespoke IT systems for companies in the freight and shipping industries.  Having worked with clients to develop and support new systems she is familiar with the need to provide up to date information in a format that suits the demands of competitive businesses.  Kathryn has a BSc in Mathematics from Warwick University in England and a BA in English Language and Literature from the Open University.  She works predominantly with the Excel Power series of add-ins, specialising in Power Query.  She writes the long-running Power Query blog on the SumProduct website.  She also edited the recently published ‘Financial Modelling in Power BI’, the latest book in the SumProduct series.
